1931
Ragnar Brunskog founded a trucking company
1953
Bengt Brunskog begins working as an assistant and a driver for the firm.
1961
Bengt Brunskog purchases the company from Ragnar Brunskog. The company then orientates itself on products such as milk, agricultural, and forest products. The name of the firm is changed to Bengt Brunskog Åkeri AB (Brunskog Transport & Spedition AB).
1964
The firm becomes a transport company in relation to Helsingborg – Ljungby for Bilspedition AB, now called Schenker AB.
1972
Lagans trucking company is founded and the same year, Brunskog acquires Stig Olsson transportation firm in Malmö; creating a transport route between Malmö, Ljungby, and Värnamo.
1976
Truck transportation and special transportation needs are added to the list of services the company offers.
1978
Brunskogs moves it’s business from Ringvägen 65 in Lagan, to Långgatan, Ljungby.
1990
Bengt Brunskog acquires Sven och Sten Nilssons AB Transportation Company with the addition of dump trucks. Furthermore, Brunskog builds a new facility on Ringvägen 2; containing offices, car wash, and workshops.
1991
Bengt Brunskog Transportation company acquires Bobcat crane service AB.
1992
Brunskog acquires Ljungby Bilfrakt AB. Transportation routes from Ljungby, Värnamo, Nybro, and Hultsfred are to be established.
1998
Brunskogs warehouse is founded, called Brunskogs Lager AB
2000
Pre-determined, consistent routes and ”milk rounds” are created and started by the firm with a workforce of a 130 employees and 10 managers
2002
Brunskog acquires Larssons Transportation Company and further implements the concept of pre-determined consistent routes. Daily transportation from Denmark-Jönköping has been created and the addition of tanker trucks are added to the company’s fleet.
2003
Brunskoggruppen (Brunskog Group) AB is formed.
2004
Construction of a 15,000 sqm warehouse alongside highway E4 is commenced in Ljungby.
2005
Brunskoggruppen revokes all Schenker-related business. All transportation management is now done by in house management. Brunskog’s Transportation Company is purchased and becomes a subsidiary of Brunkskog AB.
2006
All companies that Brunskog acquired (Brunskog Warehouse, Brunskog Transportation and Larssons Transportation) are merged together into Brunskog AB.
2014
Brunskoggruppen AB decides to relocate all heavy operating material and services to Havator AB so more emphasis and focus can be allocated to logistical and warehouse needs.
